Flare up due to a stomach virus       03/30/06 01:11 PM Edit Reply Quote Raiken Reged: 11/13/03 Posts: 21 Loc: Massachusetts I was doing quite well with IBS management until January 2006 when I came down with a stomach virus. After that, things have been really touch and go. Formerly, my ibs symptoms were constipation and bloating, now they are loose movements and bloating. I thought I was getting over it, and then my husband developed an intestinal virus and I think I caught that from him. That happened beginning of March. Once again, I'm having the diarhea problem. Maybe I should start again with the "breaking the cycle" routine. I'm also afraid that I might be coming down with pneumonia (I'm prone to it) and might have to take an antibiotic which would really kill me. Anyone have any advice?
