My doctor says I have IBS after an endoscopy, colonscopy etc. I have all of the GI symptoms and daily intense migraines. I also have another major problem that I never hear about when people talk about IBS:
Whenever I drink water I have to go to the bathroom immediatly. I have a terrible urgent abdominal pressure. However, it does not go away after I go to the bathroom. I will have to urinate at least 4 more times in the same hour to help relieve the pressure. Sometimes the pressure will last for several hours. I do not have a urinary tract infection.
Does anyone else have this problem? It's pretty scary, and also bad because I know you need to drink water when you have digestive problems, but it is just too hard to deal with. I am a student and need to be able to sit through class.
I wonder if I don't have something besides IBS, like Celiac Disease. Do any of you guys have similar problems? Thanks a lot, this board has already given me lots of helpful info,
