I agree with the previous person...an all broth diet is probably the worst thing you can do! I only say that from experience. When I first started having attacks I didn't know why. The doc said it was probably just a virus. So not knowing it was IBS, I did what you did : I went on an all broth diet hoping to feel better quicker...WRONG! I felt so sick until I started eating again. Eat safe foods, but EAT! Every time I've had an attack and gone to all broth, I just got sicker, and now I know that I have to eat, even if I have just a little bit of bread, banana, or applesauce throughout the day, it really helps. And I also haven't heard of too many ppl having a problem w/ Acacia powder. Just gradually increase your dose and I would hope it would help...it has helped me and so many others.
