I just found out about gluten intolerance as a possible diagnosis, which means you would need to cut out wheat barley and rye. I just thought i d post that it s worth checking out because it pretty much has the possibility of all of the syptoms of ibs. there s a blood test that can sort of diagnose it and if you get a biopsy you can know for sure. in the meantime if you re looking for something to try and you re as desperate as i am i would definately give it a try! (sometimes people become intolerant to lactose temporarily as well due to the damage to the small intestine, so you might want to try that as well) good luck to everyone and to myself, ha
