Last night, for dinner, I went to a local wrap restaraunt.
Perhaps some of you are familiar with the Wrap, or BOLCO.
I ordered a Mediterran wrap, with Chicken, cucumbers, black bean spread, salsa, and black beans on a wheat wrap with rice.
This would appear to be an IBS safe meal.
I specifically asked for the wrap to have no feta cheese.
When eating the wrap, after I would say three regular sized bites, 1/8th to 1/6th of the wrap, I noticed white chunks.
They mistakenly had put in bites of crumbled feta cheese.
I went back to the restaraunt, returned the wrap, and got a new one cheese free.
Within the hour, my stomach became bloated, and subsequently, my arms became much smaller.
When I get episodes such as these, bloating, it will enlarge my stomach, while making my arms much softer and smaller.
I couldn't understand why this happened.
Is it possible that the small amount of feta cheese I consumed is causing this?
Grant you, I had this by mistake, it was only a small portion, and the cheese on there was not embedded or dominating, it was conservatively sprinkled.
This whole day I have dealth with a more bloated stomach.
The only other things I can think of are, I had peanuts last night, peanuts today, white rice today, chicken with black bean sauce today, but nonetheless, I have consumed all of these before with no problems to report.
This makes me suspect this either the tiny bits of cheese I ate, or cyclical IBS.
Your thoughts?
Irregardless, what is the best remedy?
In the past, when I have foolishly consumed diary, my stomach would undergo a similar reaction that could result in bloating and poor stools for days.
I have tried Fennel Tea and White Rice today.
I could perhaps skip peanuts tomorrow, but I doubt Peanuts are the culprit, as I have had Peanuts during better moments without getting such a reaction.
Gracios.
