Hi there! I apologize, I didn't see your reply to my reply until today. Thanks for the congrats! It's a long road, but it really works. Yes they do allow Amy's dinners, they allow anything as long as you follow the healthy guidelines and stay within your points and don't go over your weekly flex points. There are a few Amy's frozen dinners that are low in points (I believe the Vegetable Shepherd's Pie is, and it's yummy, if your tummy can handle it). Yves Veggie products are also really low in points. I like making sandwiches with the veggie salami. A slice of that is only half a point.
I think I still have an Excel sheet that has a points calculator (just type in the required nutritional info and it will calculate for you) with a journal as well. If I can find it I can send it to you if you are still interested. Just send me an email at shermel@telusplanet.net if you are, and I will email it back to you. If you do decide to do it and want to calculate points on recipes, you can email me the ingredients anytime and I can calculate them for you. I may even be able to find an excel workbook that does that for you too. Can't promise though! And if you are looking for some weight watchers sites try this one: http://www.healthdiscovery.net/ - they have lists of low point foods.
Basically, I still count the points on everything I eat. The difference between now and pre-ibs is that I use soy milk instead of regular, lots of Benefiber and less fat. They teach you to eat low fat anyways so that's not much of a problem. If you want me to send you the guidelines as well, just let me know. I can't send you the food list though as I have an online membership and I sold my paper copy of the food list last year. There are also resources you can buy on ebay (at-home kits, the points finders, food lists etc...).
-------------------- Cheers!
