I guess I'm getting pretty desperate, mainly because it is so very incapacitating to try to work and has me freaked out financially too. Yes, I am already on anti-anxiety meds and have been for years. I tried various anti-depressants and nothing works for me - they have horrible side affects. One doctor tried for a year to help me take Prozac to no avail. I'm willing to try one of the new ones if the doctor offers that. I had the blood tests this morning and can only hope I can impress on the doctor the right things. I'm not sure if I should tell him I've been on Heather's diet and that it has helped me not to have as much pain during the "D" phase. I haven't conquered incorporating enough fiber yet, but that's another issue. If anyone has further advice, I'm open to hear what I should say to this doc.
