Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Colonoscopy/Endoscopy tomorrow -- prep ?

I'm starting my prep for a colonoscopy/endoscopy tomorrow morning at 7 AM. Just wondering if anyone else has used the Fleet Phospho Soda prep? I took a bottle of it (1.5 oz) about an hour ago and it's just starting to kick in. Not bad yet -- no pain. Just a little D, and nauseas from the taste of this Fleet stuff

Drinking some chamomile tea -- I think that's ok. Early this morning I ate some oatmeal, but then realized I probably wasn't supposed to eat anything today, so I stopped. I called the nurse and she said it's ok, just don't eat anything else solid. Just have had chicken broth and I'm about to induldge in some lemon JELLO -- yummm!

Anyway, I'm not really worried about the whole thing b/c I've read so many supportive messages between other people who've gone through it, and they all seem to say the prep is not pleasant, but the procedure is like nothing and you'll feel great afterwards -- you'll get the best sleep you can imagine. The funny part of what some people have told me is that afterwards you have lots of gas from the air they pump into you, so there's a bunch of people walking around and farting

My husband will get such a kick out of that. He's bringing his laptop and watching a DVD in the waiting room...

I'm so hungry already, I'm going to be sooo hungry after this is over tomorrow that I'll probably be ready to eat my hand! Anyone else going through this now?
