Mango causing gas??       09/12/05 08:14 PM Edit Reply Quote crew Reged: 06/24/05 Posts: 170 So .. the first time I had mango (right after I found Heather's website) it caused terrible gas afterwards! I was surprised since it was recommended on this site as being safe. I decided a little later to give it another try. I did fine with it. Had it a few other times after that, and did fine with those as well. I just had some tonight though, and within 5 minutes I was having horrible gas! The only difference between the other mangoes, and the ones that have given me the gas .. is the size. The mangoes that have given me gas, have been the large mangos (I didn't eat the whole thing though). And the mangos that I tolerated fine, were the smaller mangos.
