Stephanie       08/17/05 10:05 AM Edit Reply Quote MichelleB Reged: 07/30/05 Posts: 101 Loc: Ottawa, ON I am new to all this too...I was diagnosed about a month ago now...it does take some time to get it all straight..as you can see I am still questioning things....one thing I do know...I followed Heather's BTC diet for about one week...I felt so much better...I am still making sure to eat tons of SF during the day and before I eat...I too bought whole wheat breads and granola bars with lots of nuts and lots of fresh salads with market fresh veggies...my husband and I love dairy (cheese, ice cream, milk...) he continues to love it and I have, well, started to like soy. I have found a great chocolate soy drink (VitaSoy) and I have eaten the soy cheddar cheese (which is okay). We also are (as I continue to be) BIG desert people! There are some good recipes to make. I printed the "snacks, quick foods and good grub in a hurray" list from this message board and I keep it on hand when I grocery shop. Now I know I can buy "enriched wheat flour" products.
