I too have started the psyllium but with a lot of bloating (only day 2) I talked to a friend of mine that said she had IBS-C for a few years and then got addicted to laxatives. Her Doc told her to imediately get off the laxies and start with psyllium 3 times a day. She said it was an aweful bloaty gassy week but soon after she started going everyday and guess what no more IBS symptoms at all- no more pain no bloat no nothing. Anyway I'm giving it a try.
