fiber constipation       05/27/05 06:47 AM Edit Reply Quote MJZ Reged: 05/24/05 Posts: 13 Hi. I am new to all this. I have been trying different fiber combinations for about two months for the constipation.Just started the Acacia last week with my citricel and a little psyllium. I am not having a lot of luck as yet but about once a week I do an enema to just be comfortable again (although that causes gas, bloating etc Lots of fun)I was wondering if I am just not giving my body time to let the fiber get through my whole colon and open everything up. It seems a week should be plenty but maybe with the spazing it is not pushing through as quick. Should I not do the enema and give it more time?
