I understand from what I have read here that while trying to minimize Irritable Bowel Syndrome, you should avoid alcohol during this time. However, I have read on other websites that as long as you minimize and choose carefully your alcohol, one to two times a week, that this would be fine in reducing the symptoms and would not continue to make Irritable Bowel Syndrome worse.
I wanted to know, if instead of having beer, which is carbonated and give me the worst bloating, if I had vodka, rum, and bourbon, all made not from wheat and rye, once a week if this would be fine.
From what I have read on other websites this seems to be a good thing, but I was not sure. I want to be able to drink, and not sabotoge my efforts to fight Irritable Bowel Syndrome at the same time, can I do it with alcohol under this way. Thanks.
