All the pressure going on in the area can cause a rectocele to develop. Especially if you are constipated. My case is loose stools and going too often in one day puts a lot of pressure here. Sometimes when you can't go, it may not be constipation as the stool is trapped in the rectocele (my case) Having surgery soon to correct this prolapse and may help the IBS says the doctor.
