Dating with IBS       03/31/05 12:09 PM Edit Reply Quote AerobicsAngel Reged: 03/24/05 Posts: 59 Loc: London Ontario Canada I am a single 24 year old girl and dating is hard to do with IBS. I could never explain why I couldn't go out for supper or to a special event even. I have to be in control of when I come and go in fear of having an attack in a public place. I've started explaining why I can't eat things to the guys I date and to my surprise they understand and are so much more open minded about it then I would have ever thought. It really eases your mind about being in a situation someday. I still try to avoid it but at least I warned the guy ahead of time so it wouldn't be a shock or anything!
