Only one of them showed any possible abnormal function. As I recall, it had to do with the strength of my daughter's pelvic muscles. She had a very high level of muscle strength when pushing, which could possibly fight the ability to evacuate the rectum. This was all inconclusive however, since the other tests, were normal. They suggested a pelvic floor retraining program, but my daughter has decided to postpone this until she determines if the constipation can be eased through diet. So far, she has been somewhat successful by adding ground flax seed to her diet and eliminating gluten. It sounds like your test results were more conclusive, so it probably would be worth a try for you. What muscle relaxer are you on? Is it helping with pain or function?
