Hi Linz!

Yes, I'm getting a sufficient amount of Soy intake but I don't want to over do it. I've read several times on other sites how too much Soy isn't a good thing and suggests it be taken often but in moderation. I guess some people must have gone whole hog over soy.

Yes, I am taking a Probiotic. Since I'm due to see a new GI for a 2nd opinion, I want to see if he suggests an EGD, etc. I know I have a hiatal hernia and a past of esophagitis, and way back symptoms compatible with IBS which was confirmed "supposedly" by this last unprofessional GI I saw last month. That's why I requested a different GI. One who would take my symptoms seriously, treat me like a human being, and not tell me it's in my head. I went years like that with many Dr.'s before I was finally diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis. It isn't fair that just because nothing shows up in tests that they feel it's all in your head. These pains are very real and debilitating.

I'm sure you can relate to much of what I just said. Take care. Heidi
