bumping :)and bloating & meds question, pls!       03/04/05 08:08 PM Edit Reply Quote beanqueen Reged: 03/04/05 Posts: 44 bump...plus one more question..( sorry! i'm so anxious for a reply and to hopefully start on this new lifestyle of eating and being 'pain/bloating free'! many of the foods (soluable fiber). bananas, white bread etc..cause EXTREME bloating and constipation for me. is that normal? i noticed alot of people talking about anti-gas meds...???? is that something you just live with..and take the meds to counteract it? i've taken gas x for extreme gas..but seem to have many side effects later (constipation) from it. also...do most people discontinue medications (nexium, zelnorm, robinul) upon embarking upon the ibs diet? i'm also taking GLYCOLAX a form of miralax.. would that work similarly to acacia? again..sorry for the inundation of questions! thank you!
