I haven't been on the boards for several months, but was going through them this evening and found you guys talking about vitamins. Well, I was taking Sublingual B-12 with B6 and folic acid, because other B's I tried made me nauseous. I was feeling better taking them and thought since they dissolve under my tongue and went to my blood strem, I wouldn't have trouble with the sorbitol, but I was wrong. I took one a day for month and did fine and then started taking two a day and had a bad flare up, which I hadn't had for several months. I got to looking at the ingredients and they also have mannitol as the first ingredient.Guess I thought I could tolerate the soribtol since it wasn't the first ingredient, but I was wrong. I think I'm going to my family doctor next week to see if they could give me B12 shots, since they did make me feel much better. Seems like the things I try to help make me feel better, sometimes work against me, but I know that's just the way it is with IBS.
