You take a can of chicken broth and add 1 Tbsp. of fish sauce for each 8 oz. of broth (fish sauce is found in the asian section of your grocery store). That is the base. The noodles are rice noodles also found in the asian section of the store. Cook as directed, drain and pour the broth over the noodles. You can use shrimp, chicken...any meat that you like. I always add cilantro and green onions but there are places that serve it with cabbage and even lettuce leaves. It is a wonderful "comfort food" for me. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
