IBS and Rheumatoid Arthritis Connection?       01/02/05 03:28 PM Edit Reply Quote Lisa S Reged: 01/02/05 Posts: 7 Loc: Nova Scotia Hi there! I'm new to the board. I'm 36 years old and was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis about 12 years ago. It comes with many strange ailments and symptoms that wax and wane over the years. I have always had digestive problems but just passed it off as more RA trouble. But now I am beginning to believe that it is IBS! I have chronic C and lots of abdominal pain, gas and bloating. I am also scheduled to have an ultrasound on my gallbladder next month. I have been following a gluten-free, dairy-free diet for the past month. It is helping some. I will now use the ideas on this site, too! Is there anyone out there that has RA and suffers the same trouble? Love to hear from you! Lisa S Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
