I can feel/hear it in my upper-stomach region, lower-stomach region, or lower-back region at times. It is the sound of the food and fluids being pushed through your stomach and intestines. Eating ice might cause gas or intestinal contractions or cramping if you eat it on an empty stomach. Eating or drinking really cold things before you've eaten anything can cause the muscles in your digestive tract to cramp up. I hope this helps answer your questions.
