I can't seem to take the prenat vits.. I think they upset me. I tried one last time last night and woke up with so much pain that I went to the OB this morning just to make sure there was still a heartbeat! There was. It was kind of nice just to here it but it did keep me up all night. I wasn't really that good last night and ate right before I went to bed so that could have been it also.

I have noticed that when I eat pancakes, even the powder kind where you just add water that it really upsets my stomach. So I figured that carbs bugged me. I had pasta the other night and that seemed to bug me. However I did also eat cherries with dinner and just read last night on this board that they are insoluble so maybe that was my problem. I took some gas-X after eating those two things and that really seemed to help so I figured that it might have been gas caused by the carbs.

So you think it is safe to go with the bland diet for a few days?? I worry about getting nutirents to the baby when I can't take the vitamins. Should I do all fiber and maybe just a little chicken or a small amount of peanut butter??

Gas seems to really be my biggest problem and pain. So I thought if carbs can cause gas maybe that is my problem. That is the only thing I havn't cut out of my diet it seems like so it the only thing left. But the more I read maybe I am eating things I am not supposed to that I don't realize (like cherries that are causing my problems.

Any insite!!! Thank you so much. I am so new to this and it seems a little overwhelming!!!

Thanks for your help. I look forward to hearing back from you!

Melissa
