I'm also sensitive to a lot of foods. I have C,Gas, and Ab pain. I am also following the Vegan diet drmcdougall.com. I started by elimination diet, the 1st day ate only two foods I knew were safe. Rice and yell.squash, Then then ate two different foods and didn't eat the 1st ones for 3 days to make sure I wasn't going to have a delayed reaction. I did this for about 3 days, then rotated back to day one adding another food. I've been doing this for about 5 weeks and find I okay with Rice I mix well cooked brown with white, sweet potatoes, most sqaushes, pumpkin, well cooked pureed peas. I also just started veggie juice of carrots, celery, beets strained so I can get some fresh food in me. Its not exciting but I bless the foods that I can eat at this point and hope in the future I'll be able to add more. Fruit still gives me too much spasms and gas. Fat also is a major trigger as it salt. I also started taking Acacia this week and seems to be okay. I do 1/4 teas 4x day. I also started taking Zelnorm and peppermint caps which I make myself as I allergic to ginger in the ones from Heather. I also take Phyzme for gas.
I hope this helps some.
Mary
