I had something similar--had very painful gas pains exactly where you have them, and found that if I burped up some air, it did releive the pain--altho not always--I found that along with the diet, I stopped drinking anything carbonated--also found that Pepto Bismal tablets helped along with ginger tea...I have not had a problem since doing the above, so I hope I have given you something to go on...godd luck and feel good!!
