Hello, I haven't been here in a long time, but I am still struggling with IBS - only before my period. (Healther mentions the increase of prostagladin affecting the intestinal muscle walls as well as the uterine lining, and that I believe is my issue.) I read Heather saying that yoga took care of that "before the period" problem for her. I've been waiting for Heather's Yoga DVD to come out, but that is not out yet, is it?
Can someone tell me what would be the best Yoga DVD for the IBS issues? I would like to get something yoga before Heather's DVD comes out. I don't know much about yoga and I don't know where to even start.
It would be great if someone can tell me which Yoga DVD would be best suited for IBS sufferers. I am IBS-A.

I just wanted to say that I would appreciate the info also . I've started to do a little yoga (mtv dvd) but not sure that it's appropriate for people like us ... Hope someone can help

I am also interested in a good DVD. I am taking yoga classes at the local health club but they are not geared for IBS. As I am a beginner I need something with A LOT of instruction. My main symptoms are constipation with major bloating.

I just got Rodney Yee's "AM/PM Yoga for Beginners". All I can tell you for sure is that my wife and I like it. Easy to follow along with.
