I was just reading some of your posts, and wanted to add my 2 cents. I've been doing yoga for a few months now, and it definitely helps the IBS... my studio has a combination of Bikram and power yoga (more fitness yoga), as well as a class with weights now. They just started putting videos online at http://corepoweryoga.com, so if you are too self conscious to try yoga in a room for IBS reasons, try it at home first!! Or of course, if you aren't at any of the studio's locations... Colorado, Minneapolis, and I think one in Cali soon.

The hot yoga is definitely a thumbs up for IBS, but I find that power yoga helps more since it gets your stomach working harder and helps digestion processes.

And one more final comment: all yoga focuses on the breath... if you can relax, no matter what kind of yoga you are doing, your stomach is more likely to be happier and more relaxed as well.
