I have just received my Cyndi Lee's OM yoga in a box kit - but I hadn't noticed its for intermediates - I have done yoga before, but not sure which variety! Do you think a kinda beginner could get away with doing an intermediate?? Any thoughts gratefully accepted x

I've got the beginner one...but it goes into some inverted poses that are so not beginner level!

...so I could compare it to my beginners' version! You'd have to be pretty advanced to need more than all the stuff on mine so I was wondering if the beginners and the intermediate were actually that different!

I have only managed the warm up, as it goes slow - then she starts with the sun salutes and goes too quickly for me and I end up in a tangled mess!

Well that sounds like the start of mine! My warm up is...let me remember...

Cat/Cow
Downward Facing Dog
Bend the knees in downward facing dog
Plank
Scoop down into a...
Baby Cobra and back into...
Child's pose

Sound familiar? That's my favourite section too...I often just do that and the relaxation.

Easy pose with palms on thighs, easy pose with palms turned up, easy pose with hand positions for alternate nostril breathing (which is great), cat/cow, downward facing dog, monks walk, standing foward bend holding elbows, standing forward bend with flat back (yeah right), rotated standing forward bend with flat back (ouch), round up from forward bend to standing, mountain pose with prayer hands (thats more like it)...and after all that I need a rest x

Okay, that's ALOT harder! new

No wonder it's knackering you out. You might want to save some of that until you're more flexible...want to swap for a while? I know the bits of mine I like off by heart!

...we could physically swap boxes for a while, then you could learn the beginners stuff and I could have a go at the harder stuff.
