I am feeling poor enough today to need comfort food and my husband is not so able to cook this, so I had to. I actually had all the ingredients ready and waiting! The thing was though that I feel crummy enough that it seemed like a lot of work and I halved the recipe so I didn't think I needed a large pot- bad mistake. Anywho it turned out really yummy finally. I had some baggette with it. I was too lazy to zest my lemon so I put fancy cinnamon and fresh nutmeg in instead. I just wanted to say don't put it in a saucepan even if you divide the recipe.

Lol. That's good advice... it's too bad you had to learn it the hard way! I'm glad it turned out okay for you in the end though. I love rice pudding!

I boil things over all the time! I also start the teapot and go to the computer and leave it boiling until it evaporates and burns the pot - and this is from an experienced cook!
