I was just wondering what chicken broth or vegetable broth you all buy at the grocery store. So many recipes call for stock or broth. I know Heather has a recipe for one in Eating for IBS but I'm a student and sometimes its soooooo much easier to go out and buy one. Does Trader Joe's have one? Whole Foods? Do they sell a good one at the big supermarkets? What should I look for when buying a broth? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

However, it's organic and kind of spendy. When looking for one, just read the label for MSG's. If it doesn't say, and the label has things that you can't pronounce...stay away from it.

I get the low-sodium low-fat one, it's the only grocery-store brand I've found that doesn't have MSG in it. As far as broths go, the MSG is the biggie to look for.
