Hi Angel, I am a very new member. In fact, I bought the book last Friday. I am feeling better already. The peppermint tea and the carbs are really helping me. I haven't eaten dairy or red meat for a long time but I did eat alot of apples w/ skin, all whole wheat bread and alot of salads. Eliminating these things have made a huge difference. Good luck!

Angel,
I think it differs for everyone and can take some perserverance.

Personally I find it is up and down and seems to go in cycles.

I think the main thing is to keep trying and stay as positive as you can.

KINOZ; you hit the nail on the head,so to speak, when you said it goes in cycles. That is how it usually is with me .

Hi Angel
I've been on the IBS Diet for about a month 1/2 and I'm still having problems after I eat. It is better, I've had a Blood Test done for Celiac and it came back Negative. I'm not sure what it is besides IBS. I know I have that for sure. I have an App. with a Nutritionist next Tuesday so maybe that will help. Also I have a Specialist Appt. on June 2.
Hope you're doing okay!
God Bless Georgette

Thanks to the diet, i am stable, but sometimes out of no where, i will be hit by an ibs attack (with no warning) Its really weird, cause i wont be stressed and ill be eating right, and then all of the sudden-WHAM! Im hit with pain. Nothing sucks more....

I'm not doing ok at all. Each day is hell. I wish it would all just end. Thanks for asking though. I've been on the diet for months. God Bless I wish all the best.

I've been on Heather's diet for a while and it helps but not enough. I need all the luck I can. I seem to always have bad luck. About 99% of the time it's bad. Good luck to you too.

Like Lisa I saw a difference almost immediately after I had read Heathers book. Dairy products, red meat, brown bread, onions, chocolate and especially lettuce were the things I found to be my trigger foods. I still have little bouts of D and wind but nothing like they used to be. Hurray for the day I found the web site.
