I sift it and I think I mix it well but it doesn't seem to help. I made them last night and almost hurt my teeth when I bit into a flour clump. I am almost tempted to get out my mixer to see if it helps. BTW, I used almond extract because my vanilla isn't ready yet and I loved it.
