Is artifical extracts ok to cook with or does it have to be pure?

Good question. I have never had a problem using artificial. Besides, the amount that is usually used is so small that I wouldn't worry.

The only kindof extract i have ever used were peppermint and vanilla and they both were pure. Im not sure if you would do good witht he artifical stuff, but if ya do, let us know how you tolerate it.

Here they sell pure vanilla and artifical peppermint I think I'll just stick to pure. I really don't want to get a a severe attack.

I don't know if I can tolerate artifical. I'm going to stick with pure just in case I can't tolerate it.

Angel I don't use anything artifical. I am so sensitive to addivites and anything that says artifical flavorings. I can have severe cramps and my middle child can not have anything with msg or artifical red coloring without causing hyperacitvity. At times he can scream for hours.
