I was looking at the ginger bread recipe in Heather's book yesterday and found that the ginger bread recipe calls for powdered ginger. How much fresh ginger (ground) equates to how much powdered ginger? I would like to use fresh ginger since I have fresh ginger at hand, but not powdered.

Thanks!

I just looked it up online and it said 1 tablespoon fresh = 1/4 teaspoon ground... so I guess for each 1/4 tsp it calls for you'd use 1 Tbsp!
