I hope this isn't a stupid question but I'm going through the ingredients for the sweet cinnamon zucchini bread and I noticed it calls for 1 teaspoon soda. Am I to assume that's baking soda? Or is plain soda something else? (can everyone tell I'm not a cook yet )
Thanks!
Kelly

Yep. That's baking soda. And here's a hint for ya, Girlfriend: SIFT THE DRY INGREDIENTS FIRST! In most of Heather's recipes, she says to do that, and I knew bettr when I made this recipe, but I was lazy. Boy, did I end up paying the price! Although the bread turned out okay, it didn't raise as much as I thought it should -- AND (here's the crux) I could TASTE the baking soda in several pieces of the bread. YUK!

This has happened to me before in other recipes when I got lazy and passed on the sifter. Do yourself a favor, and SIFT the soda with the flour, etc. You won't be sorry.

Good luck!

Don't worry about not knowing stuff! I didn't know this when I make the zucchini bread recently, but I'm just such a haphazard cook that I guessed!

This stuff is sooooo yummy! But EACH SLICE is 7 points in WW! Aargh! Having to seriously restrict my intake!

PS. I only had one loaf pan, so I froze half the mixture in a tupperware box and it still came out great!
