Thanks, Jen, this is really very interesting stuff. I did know about white chocolate. My girlfriend is allergic to caffeine, so she always eats white chocolate. I like it too, but it's too high fat, I'll get sick from it.

I used to LOVE Godiva truffles! OMG! When I turned 40, the office bought me a large box of milk chocolate Godivas. I ate them ALL! The only dark chocolate truffle I liked had smooth milk chocolate inside; what was that inside there, do you know?

I don't know how you can stand being around all that marvelous stuff and not partake; that's amazing. I don't think I can do any kind of truffle; it's just too rich, I know I'll get sick. But it sure is interesting; thanks for sharing!

Bev

now i'm hungry!

well, i can't do white chocolate, either, which is just fine 'cause i don't care for the taste. reminds me of eating soap. :P

i understand-- truffles are very rich. they should be, all the decadent stuff that goes in there! but i can do one if i'm really careful. that's my big treat at the end of the week. and please don't make me sound too noble! the IBS c then d attack i'm still recovering from came from me getting too cocky around some amazing triple berry truffles i made for someones wedding! but i repeat: i have learned my lesson! not worth it!
