I put garlic in everything!! So I would NEVER omit it here, but you could try it. Or maybe try using garlic powder instead of the minced garlic.

I use bottled lemon juice, so I just measure out what I need. I don't actually measure it either - just eyeball it. If I were going to use fresh lemon juice, I probably would use just one lemon.

HTH.

I'm actually making this again tonight for dinner! I can't wait!

Just wasn't sure I used the right kind of garlic...the bottled. I think if I try this again, I'll go with the bottled lemon juice! It took over an entire lemon to get 1/4 cup.

For people who can handle garlic, this is really good.

Hey, MCV, did you add additional veggies to this?

I still have 3 servings left, so I'll try it again maybe tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll be able to tolerate the garlic!

I've never added any additional veggies, but I'm sure it would be good!

They aren't a trigger - just maybe IF. I make an effort to chew them very thoroughly and I always have a good SF base before eating them.

Also, I find the canned artichoke hearts easier to digest than fresh ones. Maybe because they sit in the liquid and soften up quite a bit.

If they cause attacks for you, then I would avoid them. Especially if you are not stable.
