Kree & Heidi... I saw that you make this a lot. Do you toast the muffins first and then put the goodies on it and stick in the oven or just slap it all together and then put in the oven?

I just slap it all on and throw it in a 350 degree oven! I don't remember for how long, but I know it's not that long... less than 10 minutes I think. Just until the soy cheese starts to melt.

Ooh... let us know how it goes! I'm not very adventurous, I usually just use tomato sauce and soy cheese.

Will do... might even try Heather BBQ sauce (not sure the correct title of the recipe off the top of my head) and some shredded chicken

Hi, I tried the english muffin pizzas too. Only trouble is, I totally found out I CANNOT eat cooked tomatoes! So I tried it again a few days later made with pesto sauce, and I was fine, Just a FYI if you have trouble with cooked tomatoes/and that was after I added sugar to it!

Shell,
I have broiled the pizzas before. The muffin gets a little soggy so I toast it a little before and then throw the toppings on. I like a nice crisp pizza. Broiling might even be a little faster.

Made these Friday night!!

GROUND TURKEY ENGLISH MUFFIN PIZZAS
(makes 8)

Cook up 1/2 Lb ground turkey, added a little Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, & onion powder (just a few sprinkles of each) then put aside.

Place 4 english muffins that have been split (total of 8 halves) onto a cookie sheet and put under the broiler just until they start to toast a little.

Then add 1 Tbs mushroom spaghetti sauce (or whatever kind you like) onto each half. *note: we made 1/2 with and 1/2 without sauce.... we both liked the ones without better because the muffin did not get soggy. Then divide turkey among halves. Then add a few pinches each of soy mozzarella & soy cheddar cheese we used Veggie Shreds by Galaxy Foods

Then we put them into the oven for 5 mins at 350. Then turned the broiler back on and cooked a few more minutes until the cheese was really melted.

YUM!!

I tried making these today for lunch and loved them! For mine, I toasted an english muffin first. Then I spread tomato sauce over it and sprinkled some soy cheese and mushrooms on there. Popped them into the microwave for 1 1/2 mins and viola!
