bev, I messed up your lemon bars

It never pays to do too many things at once. I decided to make the lemon bars but was occupied with other things. I did the crust fine, but threw all the moist ingredients together. What a mistake! It got kind of fizzy and lumpy and smells like plastic baking. Just goes to show its better to do one thing at a time when it comes to baking. I'll have to see how they fair once they are done baking and have cooled.

No, they really were a disaster. The crust stuck to the pan, the lemon part was not as congealed as it should be, and they taste a little like fried chicken! I majorly messed these up, and all I can do is laugh. Savannah wondered if yours came out like this and i told her I was sure they didn't!

Well, Girlfriend, no, I have to say that I've never made lemon bars that tasted like fried chicken -- not yet at least.
Give 'em another chance. But, if you want a little clue, do what I do -- while you're making them next time, go easy on the Jack!
