Potato rolls should be fine although I suspect that most commercial potato rolls have HFCS and/or egg yolks in them so check the ingredients. That said, once I got stable on Heather's diet I found I could eat commercial rolls and hamburger buns with no trouble. I guess the amounts of HFCS and/or egg yolks weren't enough to bother me.

This sounds delicious! I was just wondering if BBQ sauce was safe for IBS-D? What kind do you use??

The only problem with commercial BBQ sauces might be the HFCS although again there might be so little of it it doesn't bother you. I do fine with the ones I've tried, including Kraft and Sweet Baby Ray's.

You can also make your own. The BBQ sauce in Heather's pizza recipe is delicious and you can (or at least you used to be able to, I haven't looked in a while) find ketchup made without HFCS.

BTW, the pizza itself is delicious. I make it with store-bought crust: Pillsbury's in the roll can in the refrigerator section. If I plan ahead, I'll cook an extra chicken breast of two when I make my very simple BBQ chicken recipe and use the leftovers for the pizza. Yum!

Had to throw this in here too, since I saw Sand's post on pizza crusts -
Martha White makes a great one in a little package that you just have to add some hot water to and roll it out and bake it. VERY easy and almost fat free! Only 1gm total fat, 0gm sat fat. I like this one cuz I can throw in some extra spices as I'm kneading and rolling it to make it more tasty.

BTW - this BBQ recipe looks great! Can't wait to try it. I have chicken breasts thawing out today, and I think I'm gonna make it tomorrow...

THANKS!

IBS-D 6 months I really miss my pork BBQ sandwiches.I put 3 good size boneless, skinless chicken breast and covered with water and slow boiled them about one and ahalf hrs. They were so tender, they fell apart. So I pull the chicken apart and placed in a bowl.Well,I had bought a bottle of organic BBQ sauce....good thing I tasted it first,Hot-Hot-Hot !!!
So I made some,1 cup organic ketchup, half cup molasses and 1 Tsp liquid smoke, mixed all together and heated on stove.Poured over chicken and mixed.I'll never buy BBQ sauce again ! I call it my panic BBQ sauce ! Sorry didn't mean to write a book.( Ha-Ha)
