Brown and season (Salt and pepper)

Sauce
1 Cup Ketchup
2 TBL worchestershire sauce
1 TBL vinegar (any kind)
2 TBL white sugar

Brow the meat with onion. Add remaining ingredients. Stir toghether simmer on low for 10 minutes.

I half this for my family( 2 adults and 2 kids) Works well either way!

Thanks for the recipe! These sound great -I've been craving 'comfort food' that's quick to make on weekends.
We have tons of snow here and I've been spending the weekends skiing, so have little energy to
cook when I get home. This recipe sounds perfect-I'm making it this weekend. Thanks! Linda

Your welcome! I love fast, easy, cheap meals! This is one of them. I posted a recipe for 30 minute chili a few months back. Check that one out, you might like that one too. Also very easy and fast! Look in the recipe index under soup listed as 30 minute chili.

I did make that recipe and it was yummy! I had to modify it, because I was scared about the beans
so I processed them until smooth and then added them to the other ingredients. It made the chili
thick and smooth. Unfortunately my husband didn't do as well with it-we think he has ulcerative
colitis but not sure. Once we know and he gets some treatment, I'm hoping to make it again.Keep
those good easy fast recipes coming! Linda

I love this recipe -- all of its ingredients are basic and non-perishable, there's no vegetable-chopping, and it's super-quick and super-easy. Oh, yeah, and it tastes awesome. I admit that I kinda looked askance at the ingredients, but they were great. My husband loved them too. Thanks for the recipe, Steph!

This is really good. I've been making mine with heinz organic ketchup no HFCS in it..unfortunatly I can't find any workenshire sauce without HFCS..I use one roll of jennio turkey hamburger and less than a cup of ketchup tho..about half a cup or more.
