CHOCOHOLICS, UNITE!!! Dark and Decadent...

Okay all you chocoholics out there: A few weeks ago, I ordered from The Bakers Catalogue Dark and Decadent Hot Fudge Sauce Mix. I made a little bit today just to test it out, and OMH--I mean OMG it was wonderful. No fat, no cream--but what wonderful chocolate flavor.
It's a dry mix that you combine with water and butter, but I used I Can't Believe it's Not Butter Spray poured right from the bottle. I tbsp and made it in the microwave. The ingredients are: sugar, ground chocolate, corn syrup solids, black cocoa powder, natural vanilla flavor. Now that I think of it, I wonder if the ground chocolate is the regular chocolate. So far, I haven't had any "repurcussions" from it and usually within 10 minutes of eating regular chocolate, I start with the tooting. I'll check it out on their website to make sure it's safe for everybody.
Will get back to you all. Sorry to get all your hopes up.
I wonder if I can concoct it from cocoa powder, sugar, etc.? I'm going to have to try and see what I come up with.

I LOOOVVVEEE chocolate! i remember a couple years back, before i had ibs, i ate 9, yes, 9 hersheys chocolate bars in one afternoon. I ate them in replace of my lunch, and i didnt even get a stomach ache (those were the days) I remember after eating them, i got all happy and felt like i was high on drugs (lol) I guess what they say about choclate making you happy is true! Does anyone know why that is so?

Angela - I'm with you, honey. Maybe it's the caffeine that makes you feel so good. Personally, chocolate makes me feel good just looking at it!

I emailed the two recipes I was trying to Heather to see if she thinks they're okay for IBSers. They're so good, me and Dan are going to have them for dessert tonight--whether it gives me gas or not. He can go sleep in the guest room!
I made the chocolate zucchini cake yesterday and I'm just gonna smother it with my hot fudge. He can have regular icing.
