Note: I have the alternating type of IBS, so I generally will not use this cereal topper if experiencing constipation.

Best used on cereals like Rice Chex and Rice Krispies

Ingredients:

8 oz banana flakes
2 oz finely ground almonds
3 oz golden raisins
3 oz dried blueberries
3 tsp ground cinnamon (I prefer Ceylon cinnamon, due to its superior health benefits)
3/4 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

The spices and ground almonds counteract the taste of the banana flakes which I don't particularly like. Feel free to omit the spices, change the type of nuts, or experiment and come up with something else you prefer.

Mix all ingredients well, except raisins and blueberries - I use a food processor but that's not necessary. If using a food processor, don't overdo it or it may become clumpy.

Add golden raisins and dried blueberries, and mix together. (Just pulse a few times if using a food processor.)

Store in airtight container.

Use 1-2 tbsp on your cereal (experiment to find the amount that works best for you.)
