Does anyone know if flax seeds in baked corn chips are okay? I had a hard time yesterday finding plain baked corn chips at the grocery store yesterday, so I bought the flax seed ones. The last time I bought them with a hint of lime and those were okay, but I am a little nervous about eating these.

I'm not sure if flax seed baked corn chips are OK or not. I've never tried them. Have you considered making your own corn tortilla chips? I make them all the time and they are really good and simple. I just buy corn tortilla's and cut them into 4's and put on a baking sheet. I spray them lightly with cooking spray and salt them and then bake them at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until they start to lightly brown and are crispy.

My husband and I were on vacation and we sat out watching the sun set over the bay and eating the baked corn chips with the flaxseed. The next morning we both had the best bowel movements in quite a while. It could be the flaxseed or the sunset or both. Just watch how much and how often, cause it can have a cramping effect if you have it to often.

it's a shame we don't have more of those types of combinations that work.
