Kandee, I'm a very lazy cook myself, so I completely understand. Haven't you noticed that almost all my recipes are just thrown in the oven and baked? I hate slaving over a hot stove! Lol. As for doing this with fish fliets, I have no clue. My mom hates fish, so I never learned to cook it! Hopefully someone else can tell you.

Funny you should mention a cookbook... that's what my mom and I gave to all our relatives for Christmas this year! We compiled all our family recipes and got the book bound at Kinkos. Maybe I should start selling copies??

Kree, If you decide to do this, let me know..............I may be able to help. Hubby and I do books---design, layout, editing, and make ready for the printers--(usually large printing houses)---for local authors who want full control and not let it go to a publisher where they then have NO control!!!!

Or, you could do a few at a time, like you did for the Xmas ones, and sell as the orders come in.

Wow, I wasn't expecting such a response! I was actually just kidding. Lol. The bad news is that it's not an IBS safe cookbook. A lot of our family recipes are from my German relatives, and involve lard and all sorts of terrible things! So this probably isn't the best cookbook to be selling to my IBS buddies! But hey, maybe someday I should put all the recipes I've adapted into a cookbook. Actually, wouldn't it be cool to make a cookbook out of all our favorite IBS friendly recipes?? I don't know if I'm up to the task of compiling it, I'm all cookbooked out, but it certainly is an interesting thought! I bet we could sell it easily!

SEEEEEEE how popular your additions ARE??? "You rock girl".....sheesh now I'm starting to sound like Bev ...(tee hee).

Most definitely another IBS cookbook would be in order. Maybe get together with Mags on a combined effort........Profits could go to a charity (Like our own)...But I know what you mean about doing a cookbook. After the one I did for the museum I didn't (and in some ways still don't) want to see a cookbook for eons.

Kree, I have a special request. You are such a good researcher (who else would have found Park Hosp in Rochester?)I thought I'd ask if you have or have ever seen a knock off recipe for any of the Campbell's soups, IBS safe of course, or at least one that could be made that way? You see, I grew up (like some of us) on those old stand-by Campbell's soups. (Ask your mom, bet she did too.) Looking at them now I can't believe I ate them with all the garbage they have as ingredients ....Nonetheless, their Cream of Chicken was one of my favoites. It was always a comfort food when I was ill. I'm still sick with this cold/flu(?) and wanted some SOOOO badly. I thought to myself, "now there has GOT to be knock off, that tastes almost identical"...........but WHERE? I did a Google search and came up with nothing. Can you (or anyone else reading this) help? Sure hope so..........and one that tastes really great, well, it doesn't have to taste that great, but as close to the original canned version as one could get.

Now, picture me on my knees begging!!!

Thanks a million..............
pleeeeese help..

Love ya, Kandee
