Are margarine, almond butter or peanut butter and soya sauce common trigger foods?

Margarine, almond butter, and peanut butter are high in fat so in that sense, yes. The trick is portion control and making sure you have a soluble fiber base. In addition, most margarines contain some dairy. One that doesn't is Smart Balance Light.

I do fine with soy sauce but if yours contains MSG or anything like MSG, you may have a problem with that.

You'll get more responses to questions like this if you post them on the IBS Diet Board. It gets more traffic; this Board is more about cooking. And be sure you've read this Website outside the Boards for a better understanding of trigger food, Soluble Fiber, and so on.
