Does anyone know if this is "safe" or not. I'm new to this, but it "contains soy ingredient's" no milk and if I substitute the two eggs for egg whites and use smart balance light for the butter shouldn't that be ok? What else am I missing here?? it says total fat is 5g total after preparing and 3g saturated fat.

okay so I just measured the fat content and I'm not sure if I measured this correctly but prepared it's 5g of total fat x9/50cal=0.9% fat. Is this correct and if so, thats not too bad is it??

Does it call for whole eggs? If so, you can REALLY cut the fat by replacing each whole egg with 2 egg whites. I am VERY gluten sensitive, so I think if your brownies turn out good, I may have to try that recipe too!!

I plan on making them this weekend and I will let you know how they turn out! I'll use the egg whites. If I used egg betters in place of the two eggs, how do I measure that?? I'm new at all this substituting!

How did you figure this out? What symptoms has eating gluten free helped you with?

Thanks so much.

Hey girl!!
I have been hiding...Nah...just busy. I have been working full time for the past year and a half, and FINALLY quit my job about 3 weeks ago! And LOVING it!! We are totally broke, but I am so happy to be able to be home with my kids again. Plus, we are trying to sell our house. It's been on the market for almost 6 months now, and I am totally stressed. As soon as we sell this place, my stress level will go from a 10 to a 5 instantly!! So PRAY, PRAY, PRAY.

I have missed you too! What's going on with you?? Are you feeling ok? Your fam good?

Hmmm...I think it says on the box. I believe 2 egg whites measures out to be about 1/4C.

Well, Hello, Stranger!!!
I was "lurking" around and saw your name - put a smile on my face seeing you and Emmasmom on here - old times/good times.
Congratulations on the new litle one! Will pray for your house to sell to ease that stress so you can enjoy being home again!! Sounds good to me.
Not around here much - unfortunately not b'cause I'm all well - just not much time, plus, things have changed - think they are getting better now, though.
Always good to see you, Janey, Emmasmom, Dragonfly and it's too late for me to remember other names - the brain cells are too tired!
Take Care!!! - Dorothy

I wish I could make the connection between wheat/gluten and my symptoms.
