Which can we eat?
I would like to put one of the above on toast, but I got totally confused in the store looking at them. I noticed many jellies have HFCS, which I'm trying to avoid right now (not sure if it is a trigger for me, but not taking chances at this point). Jams are often sweetened with fruit juice and sucrose (basically sugar). Fruit spreads are often just mashed up fruit with some water or juice or nothing else added.
And which flavors? Grape (my personal favorite), strawberry, orange, black cherry, mint, or...?
So which ones are safe to eat? I'm going to guess the fruit spread, since it has the fewest added ingredients, but I've been known to be wrong before.

I don't think it really matters what flavor or type you buy, it depends on what you can tolerate. I refuse to buy anything with HFCS in it, so that can sometimes make it harder. Added sugar is obviously not an IBS trigger, but it's obviously not as "healthy" as one without extra sugar. Just try one, and see how it goes!

Well, I didn't know if one might be harder on your system than another. You know, like how things like lettuce, beans, popcorn, all IF foods, but they're harder to digest than other IF foods. I didn't know if the same went for fruits or not. Plus, I know citrus fruits can cause heartburn or acidy stomach in some people.
I didn't know if grapes, because of their skins, might be harder on one's system than, say, a strawberry. I know we're supposed to peel apples because of the skins.
Just thought I'd ask.

I can eat Apple jelly. Haven't tried any other flavors yet.

I buy all fruit spreads that are seeded and blended instead of having chunks of fruit in them. This seems to be easier on me.
