Here's an old post with many reviews of Luna Bars. Some of the flavors may have been retired and new ones introduced but as you can see a lot of IBSers do eat them.

Just make sure the flavors you choose don't have dairy.

I love Odwalla Berry bars- they seem IBS safe (220 calories with 45 from fat/4.5 grams).

I thought the berry flavor tasted so fakey. To each his own. i like the banana one but it also is mega uber banana-y. I wish they had less calories and more protein like Luna bars do.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

It would be nice if they didn't label these "for women" lol - Not that I'm insecure but where I work I would definitely get crap for eating them. They are yummy though.

I have been able to find the Mini Luna Bars. They are only 100 calories and great snack. I sometimes add fruit with it, depending on my day.

Enjoy!

haha! Karl- i agree. they really shouldn't say they are for women. i think it's because of the amount of folic acid. i guess you will have to unwrap them and sneak them into work!
