Hello everyone, are there any sample menu ideas that you all follow when you first started. I've been diagnosed with IBS on 1/16/09 and have been struggling with what to eat all day!! Thank you.

do you have heathers book the first year. She breaks it down on how to eat and what to eat to get you going. Buy the book it'll help. I know it hard when your limted to certain things. TRUST ME I KNOW. Hope i have helped.

My menus change every so often. I'll get on something for a while, especially for lunch. You gotta experiment and expand.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

This is what I rely on when nothing else seems to work (like today! aaaaargh).
